The story of "Bar do Peixe" began in 1992, when Jorge and Leonor, driven by their passion for the sea and the art of grilling fish, founded this restaurant in Meco. It began as a simple bar, called "Bar do Pexe", which quickly gained a community of friends and lovers of good food. In 2002, the restaurant moved into a new building, designed by Icelandic architects, which was later destroyed by fire, leading to the need for a complete renovation.
